Rankings and rotations for cosmic towers

SS Tier: Best for 40 CR 8
These champions have the highest chance to clear a fight in towers with a disadvantage of 40 challenge rating

Deathless Thanos - MLLL MLLLH hold block and let opponent hit block to trigger counterpunch, then while unstoppable MLLLHsp1. Use counterpunch again MLLLH, counterpunch MLLLHsp1. You should now be at 8 furies. Continue to use counterpunch charges to pause furies and debuffs on opponent. Build to three bars of power and use sp3. Use the remaining time to counterpunch and combo. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus can be special damage or critical rating

Karolina Dean - The goal is to stand in the sun where it appears in the arena for power gain. While in the sun Karolina can use a heavy attack in the middle of a combo and stun the opponent. Build to nearly three bars of power and launch sp2. Quickly build to sp2 again and launch. Let opponent use sp2 and block at least one hit if possible to inflict energy vulnerability passive which will cause bursts to deal more damage. In a towers match it is possible to use sp2 four times. Best relic to use is any statcast relic whose secondary attribute is either special damage or energy penetration. Offensive stat focus special damage

Scream - Holding heavy attack grans scream an auto block debuff. At the start of the fight hold heavy to autoblock then MM, repeat this four times so scream has two vicious buffs and two energize buffs. Then MLLLLsp1. After this using MLLLL as much as possible and build to two bars of power and launch sp2. There is no need to throw the sp1 anymore so continue to build to sp2 and launch. Depending on the length of the opponents special attack animation you can throw the sp2 three times total. venom battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage

Hyperion - Parry and use heavy attacks until gaining three bars of power and then use sp3. The either use more parry heavy or five hit combos to build power and use sp2 up to three times in a row. The furies stacking are based on RNG in addition to the stun debuff from sp2 being RNG related, these both significantly influence this fight. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating

Knull - Fairly simple rotation, use five hit combos to build to nearly two bars of power and launch sp1. Build to sp2 using MLLLL combos when the corruption passive begins. The opponent will suffer reduced combat power rate so don't be scared to MLLL swipe back and intercept with another MLLL and repeat. It is possible to throw the sp2 twice with the same corruption passive still active although this is dependent on the AI of the opponent playing aggressive and not holding block in the corner. Venom battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage or critical ratingThese champions are some of the most solid in their class for towers. A 35 challenge rating disadvantage is nothing to them

Venom - Critical hit RNG is the biggest decider of how much damage venom does. Best practice is to use heavy attacks until a precision buff is gained if one is not already active. Sp1 or sp3 prevents buffs from being converted and sp2 converts all buffs into furies. Venom battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.

Cull Obsidian - Heavy attack three times. Swipe back and activate Rout. One more heavy attack then MLLLMrelicMLLLMsp2 in sequence so the sp2 is activated while the massive fury buff is active. Combo opponent while stunned. A variation of this can be done in the time remianing where armor breaks are inflicted from heavy attacks and rout is activated in the right timing to expire before sp2 can be thrown. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.

S Tier: Very High Damage 11
These champions are some of the most solid in their class for towers. A 35 challenge rating disadvantage is nothing to them, with class advantage some may even be able to handle 40 CR.

Gwenom - MLLLH MLLH MLHsp1 MH then build to sp2 using combos and chain heavy attacks to refresh buffs.  Build to sp2 and launch for corruption passives to deal massive damage. In towers it is not viable to use sp3 as well so simply build to and launch sp2 again using heavies from chained combos to refresh buffs. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage or critical rating

Carnage - Requires mastering stand up medium "intercepting" and 5/5 points in deep wounds mastery. Parry heavy to inflict bleed and gain power gain buff. MLLLMsp1 then as opponent is standing up before they can react use medium attack into five hit combo ending with a medium attack and another sp1. Stand up medium intercept again five hit medium ender into sp1, this is the third MLLLM into sp1 so far. Stand up MLLLL into relic, then heavy attack and sp1 while opponent is still on the ground. from here continue to use stand ups combo into sp1 mixing in light enders to also get precision buffs and not only fury. This is not an easy rotation by any means but the payoff is worth it. Venom relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage, critical damage rating or critical rating. Video included.

Hulkling - The goal is to launch sp2 while unblockable to gain an additional massive fury buff. Hulkling gains an unblockable buff every five pierce buffs gained. Build power until nearly at two bars of power then gain distance and let hulkling gain enough shapeshift charges. Hit the opponents block a total of five times so that the sp2 can be launched as the unblockable buff is gained. It is possible to repeat this two more times for a total of 3x unblockable sp2. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.

Medusa - Very easy to use. MLLLM MM MLLLMsp1. Then use sp2 multiple times while armor shatter is active. Robot opponents will be power locked while armor broken. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.

Adam Warlock - MLLLM to start. Then hit the opponents block to trigger unblockable buff. From here do not parry or buffs will be lost. Hopefully the opponent will use special attacks which pause your buffs, if not double tapping block will trigger stasis pod and pause buffs once before a cooldown. Relic also assists in pausing buffs. Use sp2 once built up to two bars. Once Soverignty Counter has reached 40, a massive fury will be gained and counter will go on cooldown for 10 seconds before it can be restarted with hitting opponents block. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.

Gorr - Two possible rotations:
(Sp2 rotation) --> MLLLL MLLLL then medium ending combos to inflict debuffs. Reach nearly 3 bars of power and launch relic before sp2 so the furies benefit from the aptitude. Combo with more medium enders for more debuffs and sp2 slightly above two bars of power but before the furies expire ideally throwing relic before second sp2. There should be enough time for a third sp2 if the opponent cooperates. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage.
(sp3 rotation) --> Use light ending combos until two stacks of each shadow magic buff have been gained. Then MM until sp3 and launch, this special attack does increased damage for each debuff on the opponent. There is technically time to throw a second sp3 as well but the shadow magic buffs will need to be regained to inflict more debuffs. Venom battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage.

Nova - Parry swipe back and dash in and do not complete combos regardless. At 75 charges, nova gains a fury up to a max of 5, once over 75 nova charges, use a medium ending combo to consume charges and fall back under 75 and build back up again to gain more furies. Once at 5 furies, build up to 100 charges to gain an unblockable buff at which point throw an sp2. Rinse and repeat this process a second time. Thor relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating or special damage.

Beta Ray Bill -

Angela - Simply build to nearly two bars of power and throw sp1. After which build to sp2 and throw immediately. Rinse and repeat. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating

Spider man (Symbiote) - Build to nearly two bars of power before throwing sp1. Then when opponent throws a special attack, dash in while evade is active to inflict more armor breaks, afterwards throw sp2 once reaching two bars of power. This can be done twice in a towers match. Best relic to use is any statcast relic whose secondary attribute is either special damage or critical damage rating. Offensive stat focus critical damage rating.

Vox - Damage comes from degeneration debuffs lasting as long as possible before being recaptured as Vox's buffs. Use MLM four times before MLLLL once. Dexterity buffs stack and convert to corrupted buffs when a basic attack is thrown after, these assist in stacking more degeneration debuffs later on. Throw sp1 to inflict degens and hit opponents block once with a basic attack to pause them. Build to sp2 and throw right as degens are going to expire. This rotation can be done twice in one minute. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage.

A Tier: Solid for 35 5
These champions are hard hitters but need optimized gameplay, rotations, or masteries for a good win at 35 challenge rating disadvantage

Galan - Incinerates from sp2 need time to tick so the goal is to trigger Galan's harvest three times with sp2 sp2 sp1 in that order. MLM to build power, use dexterity mastery during opponents specials to gain more planetary mass. Use heavy attack when at two bars and immediately throw sp2, do this again to reach another sp2 remembering to trigger harvest with heavy attack before. For final harvest, it must be triggered with a heavy at 100 mass or more, then use MLM right up until time is up and launch sp1. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage.

Sersi - Use MM five times to build transmutation buffs then a heavy attack to activate glancing and double the transmutation buffs given from medium enders. Build to sp2 and launch relic before sp2 ideally at 10-11 transmutation buffs. These will convert to fury buffs for decent burst damage. The glancing buff expiring will give a power gain buff making it easy to build enough power to throw a second sp2 before the fury buffs expire. Then repeat first portion of mediums then heavy attack for a final sp2 with double digit fury buffs. Thor battlecast relic very much preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.

Phyla Vell - Build to in-between 2 and 3 bars of power and throw sp1. Then parry the opponent and throw a heavy attack, you will be gaining power during this heavy attack, then after the second hit of the heavy attack throw the sp2 for bursts of damage based on stored oblivion energy maxed at 250. This rotation can be done twice in a towers match. Ms. Marvel battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage.

Vision Aarkus - Build to nearly three bars of power and launch sp2. Then build to sp3 and launch relic before throwing sp3, since the opponent is armor shattered this will grant a massive fury buff enhanced by the aptitude from thor relic. Now throw sp1 three times, each sp1 will deal bursts of damage if the opponent is armor shattered. Fury buff will be paused during sp1. Thor relic very much preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage or critical rating.

Venom the Duck - Before Venom the Duck's personal buffs expire, use a heavy attack to store them in the RNA bank. Use sp2 three times. Cosmic egg relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.

B Tier: Decent Damage 6
These champions have either unorthodox playstyle or specific requirements to win at a 35 challenge rating disadvantage such as relics, crit RNG, or opponent AI

Imperiosa - Begin the fight with 75% of max power and use medium ending combos to build power and gain immunity to special lock, throw sp3 as soon as possible. get back to three bars of power as soon as possible and throw another sp3. Then build to an sp1 and throw before any corrosion debuffs expire. From here continue to combo the opponent for the remaining time. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.

Gladiator - MLLLH to gain confidence. Then hit opponents block with four hit MLLL then dash back before going back in. Then use a heavy attack for an unblockable buff and activate sp1. Whiff attacks while the opponent is throwing a special attack for massive energy bursts. Ms. Marvel battlecast relic preferred or any statcast relic with energy penetration as the secondary atribute. Offensive stat focus critical rating.

Terrax - Begin the fight and combo the opponent maintain close proximity until 2-3 armor breaks are inflicted. Then parry and use a heavy attack. Then use MLLLL combos until at sp2 and throw. Then continue to use light ending combos and use a heavy attack once at around 7 armor breaks. Use sp2 again and same combos. Ms. Marvel battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating or critical damage rating.

Superior Ironman - Fairly simple rotation. Hit the opponent with medium ending combos to gain buffs. Intercept to gain more buffs in the beginning. Launch sp2 three times. Armor break from sp2 is a big contributor to the overall damage. Ms. Marvel battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critcal rating or special damage.

Silver surfer - Throw a heavy at the beginning of the fight to active power gain buff. This is the key to keeping up his buffs, and his damage. Heavy attacks cause surfer to phase for a short period of time, meaning that it is 100% safe to throw it at the start of the fight. The power gain buff is half as long as the other buffs, meaning you can consistently refresh all buffs when it expires. Once you have the power gain buff, save for a sp1 and wait for the power cosmic to refresh and for it to rotate to the dormant fury buff. Throw the SP1.  This will activate 2 fury buffs, which vastly increase the damage. Then throw sp2 three times for the burst damage. Activate the crit rating buff from Dexterity mastery and fire your specials with it or immediately after you first hit (it will still be active for a moment). This will help ensure you get either the Vigilance buff from sp1 and unblockable buff from sp2 up earlier on in the fight AND the Crit buff is also paused on the specials so you get the extra damage on each special hit for having the extra unique buff up, and that really adds up. Also try to time those specials with either the Power Cosmic buff up or immediately after you phase so you have the Phase buff up on top of that. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage or critical rating.

Dark Pheonix - Begin with three medium ending combos to build ember charges and then launch sp1 to gain three more, this will grant a power gain buff which helps quickly throw another sp1 and a third sp1. Then use three medium ending combos and throw relic into sp2. This sp2 grants a much bigger fury when thrown at 15 ember charges. Then combo the opponent and spam sp1 until the fight ends. Bonus points if you take a special attack to the face and trigger immortality inflicting an extra nova flame passive. Thor relic very much preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.
C Tier: Very Tight 35 5
These champions are the problem children and need a relatively smaller health pool opponent to have a chance at winning a 35 challenge rating disadvantage fight

Super Skrull -

Pheonix -

Captain Marvel (Movie) -

Odin -

Gamora - Gamora will gain buffs during the fight as she attacks the opponent. Use heavy attacks to refresh these buffs. Build up to two bars of power and launch sp2 followed by sp1. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.
D Tier: Near Impossible 5
These champions are the absolute worst in their class that can still technically pull through a 35 challenge rating disadvantage fight. They require either a fight like rocket raccoon or spider man stark enhanced and still need perfect AI to have a fighting chance

Serpent - Build to a throw sp3 then spam sp1. Sp1 deals bonus damage if thrown into opponents block and block breaks with the unblockable, an easy way to do throw special into block this is delay the sp1 a half second or so after the combo ending attack. Ms. Marvel battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus critical rating.

Corvus - Use parry ML combo seven times to build power but conserve glaive charges. Then use MLM into sp2. Do this twice for full sp2 crits. Then two glaive charges will remain and nothing else can be done.

Maestro - Using medium ending combos build to just under three bars of power and then throw sp2. Then repeatedly use medium ending combos and throw sp1. Best relic to use is any statcast relic whose secondary attribute is special damage. Offensive stat focus special damage

Kind Groot Deathless - Build to and throw sp1 before fury buffs expire to place permanent armor breaks on the opponent. Then build to and throw sp2 once fury buffs have returned to inflict incinerate. Use heavy attacks to pause incinerate debuff. Build to another sp2 and launch when fury buffs return. Thor battlecast relic preferred. Offensive stat focus special damage or critical rating.

Red Goblin -
